The Kane County Purchasing Department uses BidNet's Illinois Purchasing Group to advertise and manage KDOT's Bids and Addenda. Registering and using this service is free.  Please click here to visit the BidNet Illinois Purchasing Group page. All active solicitations for KDOT construction and maintenance projects can only be found on this site.  Please note that KDOT does not use this service to select for professional services. On August 8, 2023, the Kane County Board passed an ordinance regarding RESPONSIBLE BIDDER REQUIREMENTS FOR PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS which requires additional information and documentation from responders bidding on KDOT construction projects.  Additional information regarding the responsible bidder requirements can be found within Section 2-231-1 at https://www.kanecountyil.gov/Documents/Purchasing/Purchasing%20Ordinance.pdf​. 

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES​

KDOT utilizes a Qualifications Based Selection (QBS) process to solicit and secure professional services.  Registration and prequalification is required.  This service is free.  ​
